About

NC Data Center Ledger collects public records on data-center decisions in North Carolina's Triad: meetings, agenda items and the documents behind them. Every item links to its official source, and every saved document carries the SHA-256 hash of the copy we retrieved. The project is free and open-source software.

Our fetcher

If your site logged requests from a user agent starting with dc-ledger/ and linking to this page, they came from this project. The fetcher:

• reads only public meeting and agenda information;
• follows robots.txt for the product token dc-ledger, and stays away from a site whoserobots.txt it can't read;
• sends at most one request to a site every half second, and waits when a site asks it to;
• never gets around sign-ins, CAPTCHAs or bot walls.

To stop it, add this to your robots.txt:

User-agent: dc-ledger
Disallow: /
